This Privacy Policy explains what information Ryuga ("Ryuga", "we", "us") collects in the iOS app and on ryuga.io, how it is used, and the choices you have, including how to delete your account. We try to collect as little as possible.
1. Who may use Ryuga
Ryuga is intended for people aged 13 and older. It is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are under the age of majority where you live, use Ryuga with the permission of a parent or guardian. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
2. Information we collect

We do not use your information for advertising, we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites, and we do not sell your personal information.
3. Payments
Ryuga is the only seller to readers. Ryuga Premium purchases on ryuga.io go through a single checkout handled by our payment processor, which collects your payment details, email and billing country directly to process the payment, calculate tax and prevent fraud, under its own privacy policy. We never see or store your full card number. Creators do not receive your payment details; Ryuga pays creator royalties from its own revenue, outside our payment processor.
4. Service providers
We use Supabase (account sign-in and database), Cloudflare (hosting and content delivery), a payment processor (payments on ryuga.io), Apple (Sign in with Apple, in-app purchases) and Google (Sign in with Google). They process data only to provide their service to us.
5. How long we keep data
Account data is kept while your account exists. Reading progress linked to the device ID is deleted after 30 days of inactivity.
6. Deleting your account
You can delete your account at any time, immediately:
- In the iOS app: Profile → Delete account, then confirm.
- On the web: sign in at ryuga.io/account → Delete account, then confirm.
Deleting your account deletes your Ryuga account on our side (your sign-in record, including the Apple or Google identifier we stored), email, profile, avatar, saved progress and reading history on the device you delete from. Records of past purchases are kept without your user ID, name or email, only as required for accounting and tax obligations. Deleting your Ryuga account does not yet automatically revoke Sign in with Apple on Apple's side; to remove that link too, stop using Sign in with Apple for Ryuga in your Apple ID settings (Settings → your name → Sign-In & Security → Sign in with Apple). If you cannot use the in-app option, email us from your sign-in email and we will delete your account.
7. Security
Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS). No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we use reasonable measures to protect your information.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your data, or to object to processing. Use the in-app options above or contact us.
9. Changes
We may update this policy; the effective date above shows the latest version.
