Content Guidelines
These rules apply to every story, chapter, image and cover published on Ryuga, whether it was written by hand, made with AI tools, or both. They are part of our Terms and the Creator Program. Effective date: October 30, 2026.
1. Characters and age
- Every character in a romantic, flirtatious or suggestive scene must be 18 or older, and must clearly look and act like an adult.
- Characters under 18 must never appear in romantic, flirtatious or suggestive content of any kind. This includes kissing, dating storylines, "cute" sexualised poses and suggestive camera angles.
- Do not describe an adult character as looking or acting like a child in a romantic context.
- Children may appear in stories (for example as siblings or students), but they must not be the focus of a cover.
2. Nudity and sexual content
- No nudity, including implied or covered nudity (for example a character shown nude behind a sheet, hair, steam or an object).
- No images that focus on underwear, lingerie or swimwear, and no close-ups of private body areas.
- No sex scenes, in text or images, on page or implied in detail. A story may say that two adults spent the night together; it may not show or describe it.
3. Violence and gore
Action and combat are welcome. Keep blood and injuries minimal: no dismemberment, exposed organs, torture shown in detail, or lingering close-ups of wounds. Do not glorify real-world violence, terrorism or hate.
4. Cover rules
Your cover is the first thing readers see, so it is held to a stricter standard than the inside of your story.
- Characters on the cover must be fully clothed. No underwear, swimwear or revealing poses as the focus.
- No kissing beyond a light kiss, no characters in bed, and no suggestive poses or camera angles.
- No blood, weapons pointed at the viewer, or injured bodies as the focus.
- Children must not be the focus of a cover.
- No real people, celebrities, logos or artwork you do not have the rights to use.
- Title text must be readable and must not contain profanity or slurs.
5. AI disclosure (required)
Stories made with AI are allowed. When you publish, you must label your story honestly:
- AI-generated: most of the text or images were produced by an AI tool.
- AI-assisted: you wrote or drew the work yourself and used AI tools to help (for example editing, ideas, or part of the art).
The label is shown to readers. Stories with a missing or false AI label may be removed. AI-made content must follow every other rule on this page.
6. Content warnings
Choose every warning that applies to your story. Readers see them before they start reading.
- Violence: fighting, injury or death.
- Disturbing themes: abuse, horror, crime, war or other upsetting topics.
- Strong language: frequent swearing or crude language.
- Self-harm: self-harm or suicide, mentioned or shown. Never present it as a solution or in detail.
7. Never allowed
- Any sexual or romantic content involving anyone under 18.
- Hate speech, harassment, or content that targets real people.
- Content that promotes self-harm, eating disorders, drugs or illegal activity.
- Copied work that is not yours, or personal information about real people.
8. Review
Every new story, chapter and cover is reviewed by our team before it goes live. We aim to finish each review within 72 hours. If something breaks these rules we will tell you what to change; you can edit and submit again. We may remove content later if we later find that it breaks these rules, and repeated or serious breaks can lead to your creator account being closed.
9. Report and Block
Readers can use Report on any story, chapter or comment to tell us it breaks these rules, and Block to stop seeing content and comments from a creator or user. We review reports and act on them as quickly as we can. If you believe content shows a minor at risk, report it right away and we will remove it and, where required, notify the authorities.
