How Ryuga works: Ryuga is a subscription publisher. Ryuga is the publisher and the only seller to readers. It sells one product, Ryuga Premium, a $9.99 monthly subscription that unlocks every chapter of every series, through a single checkout. Independent creators and studios keep ownership of their work and grant Ryuga a non-exclusive publishing license; they have no shop, checkout or payment processor account and do not sell anything to readers. Ryuga reviews every series and cover before it goes live, and also publishes its own series. Ryuga pays creators a royalty from its own revenue, outside our payment processor; our payment processor has no contract with creators and does not split payments with or pay creators.

By using ryuga.io or the Ryuga app ("Ryuga") you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Ryuga.

1. Age and accounts

Ryuga is for readers aged 13 and older. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use Ryuga only with the permission of a parent or guardian.

You can browse without an account. To save your reading progress or subscribe to Ryuga Premium you sign in with Sign in with Apple, Sign in with Google or email. One account works on both ryuga.io and the iOS app. Keep your sign-in private; you are responsible for activity on your account.

Deleting your account: you can delete your account at any time at ryuga.io/account or in the app (Profile → Delete account). Deletion is immediate and permanent. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription by itself; cancel it first (see section 3). See the Privacy Policy for what is deleted and what purchase records are kept for accounting.

2. Original comics and content rules

Every series on Ryuga is original work. Ryuga publishes its own series and series licensed from independent creators and studios, who keep ownership of their work and confirm they own or hold the rights to license it to us. All characters are fictional.

All content on Ryuga must be suitable for readers aged 13 and up. We do not allow sexual, pornographic or adult content, sexual or romantic content involving minors, graphic gore, hate, or content that promotes self-harm or illegal activity. 3. Ryuga Premium, billing and refunds

The first 5 chapters of every series are free for everyone. Reading on Ryuga is free until Nov 14, 2026. Ryuga sells one product: Ryuga Premium, a monthly digital subscription at $9.99 per month that unlocks every chapter of every series. Access is delivered instantly online in your Ryuga account; nothing is shipped. The plan is coming soon and is not on sale yet; nothing is charged today.

Ryuga is the only seller to readers. Readers subscribe to Ryuga through a single checkout on ryuga.io, processed by our payment processor, which acts as merchant of record for those orders and handles payment, invoicing, sales tax and VAT; its own terms also apply to the payment. Purchases inside the iOS app are processed by Apple. Creators are not a party to your purchase.

The price and billing period are shown again before you subscribe. Subscriptions renew automatically each month until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account; you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for. A subscription is personal and cannot be transferred. Refunds follow our Refund Policy and any refund required by law.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• post or share content that breaks the content rules in section 2;
• harass or threaten other people, or share personal information of yourself or others;
• copy, scrape or redistribute comics from Ryuga, share your account, or bypass the Premium lock;
• reverse engineer, attack or overload the service;
• use Ryuga for any unlawful purpose.

We may remove content, and may limit or close accounts that break these rules.

5. Creator content and reporting

Creators and studios can submit stories, chapters, images and covers for Ryuga to publish ("User Content"). All User Content must follow these Terms and the Content Guidelines. Ryuga reviews every series and cover before it goes live, usually within 72 hours. We may refuse, hide or remove User Content that breaks these rules, and may close accounts that break them repeatedly. Ryuga is the publisher and the only seller to readers; creators have no shop, checkout or payment processor account, and do not sell anything to readers.

Anyone can use Report on a story, chapter or comment, and Block to stop seeing a creator or user. We review reports and act on them within 24 hours where possible. You can also report content by email at hello@ryuga.io.

6. Publishing license for creator content

Creators and studios keep ownership of their User Content. By submitting it to Ryuga you grant Ryuga a non-exclusive, worldwide publishing license to host, store, display, distribute and promote your User Content on Ryuga and in Ryuga marketing while it is published. Ryuga pays royalties as described in section 7. You may remove your User Content at any time; the license ends for new display once it is removed, except for backup copies and records we must keep. You confirm that you own or have the rights to everything you publish and that you are at least 18 years old.

7. Creator royalties

Ryuga pays creators a royalty from Ryuga's own revenue, outside our payment processor. Our payment processor has no contract with creators and does not split payments with or pay creators. The royalty is 70% of each reader's net payment to Ryuga for Ryuga Premium (payments minus refunds), shared by the number of new pages that reader read from each creator; re-reads do not count. Royalties are calculated automatically on the 1st of every month and paid by the 30th of the following month via Airwallex, PayPal or Payoneer once the balance reaches $25; smaller balances roll over. Ryuga sends these payments itself and covers the transfer fees. Payouts are handled by Airwallex/PayPal/Payoneer, which may verify identity. Full details, with an example: Creator Program.

8. Intellectual property

The Ryuga site, app, design and the Ryuga team's series belong to us; creator series belong to their creators. You may read them on Ryuga for personal, non-commercial use only.

9. Availability and changes

Ryuga is provided "as is" and "as available". We may change, suspend or discontinue any feature or series at any time. We may update these Terms; continued use after an update means you accept the new Terms.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of Ryuga.

11. Apple

For the iOS app, these Terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content. Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/.
